To go back past the previous season you'll need to use the Season Pass Pass extension. The chrome version has to be installed manually, but if you have Firefox you can install it directly from their add-on store

Court of Blades is a better return on time investment if you can consistently get 13 challenges cleared each run. If you're getting significantly fewer, then farming Nether for Metastsizied Essentia that you then turn in at the totem thing in Eris' apartment likely ends up being a better option.

That said, if you've got other characters, running through the story on the other characters is a pretty great source of rep. Each time the quest has you go back to the Shaping Slab is a chunk of rep and you're going to do activities while you're working on the story, too.

You need one in each zone before the secret keepers spawn. On the third zone clear one should spawn, so if you've never fully cleared any overthrows before, you should only need 5 total for Dual Destiny

You have to full clear them to get to the wizards, but you don't have to go to orbit each time, no. The exception being if you load in via a Matchmade Overthrow (which I'd recommend against since it tends to interfere, anyway).

The overthrows don't have to be done in a single session/instance/etc.

Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

There's virtually never a dedicated reward for completing seasonal story quests. You'll get rewards at various points throughout the story, but the main motivations for progressing a seasonal story quest is the story itself and/or unlocking the seasonal activities.

Same as the mission for Choir of One itself (Encore)

You pick up quests from Banshee for each catalyst

And you'll want to wait to go after the Choir upgrades until you've unlocked the final iteration of Encore (Encore: Coda which will turn into just Encore with no subtitle) which is from the end of Act 3

That way you can get all of the non-expert stuff done in a single run

There's 3 versions of Encore. Encore: Overture, Encore: Concerto, Encore: Coda/Encore with no subtitle. The version changes as you go throughout Act 3.

The versions are additive, so the 2nd iteration lets you get everything from the first, but that's why waiting for the 3rd (Coda/no subtitle) is best.

It is, though it isn't used for its direct damage. It provides a debuff that makes the target take 30% more damage so it's good in fireteam situations or if you are using builds that derive damage from exploiting certain abilities

Basically. Snipers get to be powerful in PVP at long range because their ammo is limited. Scouts have infinite ammo so their long range means they need to be relatively weak.

You can do /meta pvp in #stats-and-commands to see the most popular weapons in crucible. Otherwise you're probably going to want to find PVP-oriented content creators and I suspect #📕crucible-playbook will be a better source for that than this channel.

Heavy GL (though you can get a good roll of it from Banshee once you've cleared once), Special GL for damage swap setups, possibly the auto if you're looking for a primary w/ jolting feedback and don't already have one of the Revenant ones

There’s a campaign mission you can replay, Breakneck. If you progress through it, there’s a section with a lot of Vex and a free rally banner every time, so long as you don’t kill the Wyvern which would progress the checkpoint
