not great recently

i love the idea but the difference in power between some character's perks and the different rates people earn them feels really toxic sometimes and it kind of both punishes you for ever swapping while incentivizing the enemy team to try and counterpick as hard as possible since if you make someone have to swap they are set back a fair bit on whatever they swap to

like with this hitscan ass meta rn it can look playable to play something like pharah and then they just swap ashe/soldier/sojourn and force you off of it otherwise you start feeding

and like somehow orisa is insanely overtuned and also worst tank in the game

just bc the good dps characters rn hard counter her

If your melees are buffed enough you can absolutely stulock most things with a stomp

Like with the heroic chainsword my stomps on tactical knock back anything and even my shoulder charge or punch allows me to immediately interrupt attacks and keep dealing damage

I'm pretty sure heavy even has a prestige perk that buffs stomp damage and a regular perk that increases the radius

It's a bit tricky rn with relic versions of some weapons.
Like the heroic knives do what the relic does and more. There's no sacrifice like on some of the other heroics in terms of stats.
For example the heroic chainsword and power sword get buffed attacks but they noticeably slower to swing than the relic versions.
Or the heroic heavy bolt pistol gets a huge slash in ammo for the instant stun/kill on enemies calling for reinforcements

I love the heroics being the equivalent of exotics but I don't think they should be the end all be all. Just instead offer something new and unique.
