Its easy to say this when you ignore the concept of nuance entirely
DE stepped down from heavy handed nerfs after dante because they said they planned to nerf dante, but wanted time to understand how to nerf him, the sandbox team proceeded to nerf him prematurely the next day, which led to backlash
Also cyte falls off a cliff if he cant maintain headshots, which can be hard if you have a bad spawn tileset or are in playing pubs, which is where his lack of los checks makes sense
Also him being overpowered is more of a symptom of weapons being unbalanced, not him as a warframe
Because putting dual toxy incarnon on him is LEAGUES better than his sniper

The thing with snipers is that people build them to lean into the classic sniper fantasy, rather than building them for the warframe samdbox they actually exist in
Single shot weapons like snipers and bows are actually incredibly potent, you just need to build them for things like blast

Yes but generally it doesn't have anything to get you out of a jam sadly. I by no means think the class is bad or think you're wrong for liking it I'm just saying it kinda lacks in its ability to get out of tight spots once enemies do inevitably close in on you.
Even other heavy mains say it could definitely use a buff for its stomp or slight weapon damage increase across the board for the heavy bolter and heavy incinerator

My whole build on tactical is grenades from the deathwatch heavy bolt rifle and chainsword swings/stomps. So I'm kinda doing the same thing as them.
