and youre encouraged to fight the marton AI

Difficult to say? In regards to "just surviving" id say arc raiders is easier, due to an easier to kite and avoid AI, and a generally more friendlier fanbase (INSIDE OF THE GAME***)
Marton in turn, you need at least a gun to survive the AI at least, but not much ammo nor a good gun. But players will be an issue
in turn though, its way way easier to repeatedly do runs with shitty gear than in Arc raiders, due to how much easier it is to obtain guns, even shitty guns, and you have the option to do runs with shitty but free kits

For Marton, i'd say its easier to have scav runs, and its way way easier to grow into a better kit from a scav run even during the run
thereas Arc raiders scav runs will be a bigger dent in your economy if you lose it, but its also very feasible to do a run with literally nothing
