In the matches i played i never had a single friendly interaction cause not much else really goes on in the maps

And also with movement being slow and there being so many teams, a lot of shit gets looted before you have a chance to leave spawn, so players end up being walking loot pinatas after like 5 minutes

Bungie has made it very clear that the 3 player team is central to their vision of the game and arent particularly aligned with the solo player's desires

So you can reach the high tier maps faster, and not have to regrind so much when you lose it all

These games have no long term endgame and no large amount of content at launch
