the issue is that AI upscalers aren't used to further optimize a game. rn games just don't bother with optimization at all, release dogshit projects with terrible perfs, and hide behind upscalers

I wouldn't complain if I needed DLSS to run a game if I still was on my 2080. I complain it's required to run them at any kind of acceptable fps with medium graphics with high end cards.

the ttks are fairly low. If you compare with arc, I wager it will attract a slightly sweatier crowd

ofc again, depending on further balancing they may do, though I would be surprised if they made ttks that much higher

So you can't sprint slide and double jump all over the place like rabbits

the aim is likely to punish bad positioning and make you less able to go in and out of combat

meaning you need to think about positioning when going to places or looting them

the pve was generally cool, though there as well, the enemies are very much out for blood, especially in the 3rd kinda expert map (harder enemies, harder pathways, better loot)

I believe they have said there would be a last beta before release, so you can likely delay your buy a little and see for yourself when it happens 🙂

as well as change weapons if you deployed with something suboptimal

they might have dropped some, but it's not their main purpose

map knowledge is essential and will get you to the really nice loot, but there are enough places that you can go gear up at game start without instant apocalypse upon your bloodline

there are 2 main extraction methods. 1 is going to normal teleporters. They are generally fairly in the open and take a bit long, but are mostly doable

you can take some spicy teleporters that spawn more often and remain longer, but they will send a fucking death squad on you

if you manage your time and looting well, you can generally extract fairly well

mind that I say this with beta playing in mind, which I expect was with sweatier players than I would expect on release

Besides it being a Tesla? Taking corners felt awful, a lot of Tesla features are locked due to regulations, there aren't a lot of chargers on the road unless you specifically take the large highways (which I rarely have to do) so you need a charger at your work, the interior is boring, it makes an awful sound when going backwards, I've had one instance where the OS couldn't update so I had to get the car towed to the dealership since it disables driving if an update fails (happens very rarely tho)
