We do a raid, then D3 we end up dying against Xivu and Savathun in the opening mission of the game. The Coalition is left with few soldiers to defend from all the factions built in it, so Zavala gives out the order to all ghosts to revive whoever they can. It doesn't matter if you feel specially linked to them, we just need what we can get in case the Hive come back, letalone other threats.

For Lightfall, even though I was a new player, I struggled against the Tormentor so much in the first mission, that I went and did the rest of the camapign on normal and still struggled. I needed another person who I met on patrol to beat Calus on normal.
