But looking at the clips urs is way cleaner
I just selected the verts and then did make face from selected
Right now i can't texture the ground because of how i did it
Idc cause I already had a solution for that. All I need is to make it smooth
At the start i just did it with the array and curve modifier so it's around the track and smooth, then i went and made it wider or thinner depending on the run off areas and then i just extended verts and selected them and made face from selected verts.
I would suggest using curves

They are also pretty far away and the fog is mostly making them seem further away
@fossil grove after this map what will you make next? I'm planning to make Interlagos and it would be awkward if we made the same track twice in a row.

anyways, it turns out that this track is also laptime accurate. (it's 2 minutes 26 seconds) I had a bit of skill issue going into the final chicane, but it's close enough
if ur asking how, basically trailmappers/trailmakers have the reflection based on alpha. so the more transparent something is, the less glossy it becomes. so to makesomething glossier, make the opacity higher.

No I make the glass higher opacity and the rest lower. The lower the opacity the less reflective

Also you need to make your textures on low opacity by default
Or else it's gonna look super shiny

Just take the texture of the mountains, put it on Pixlr or something, lower the opacity, and then download the transparent background PNG file then import it into trailmappers

@fossil grove do you have one texture for the ground or multiple? Currently I'm realising that i will probably have to make a higher res texture if i want to have good quality for texturing the ground.
I have multiple. Actually only 3. Sand, grass, and runoff asphalt. Each one has separate models

So
basically I need a mod where you can make sectors, and for example if someone is in a sector that is yellow flagged, there wil be a yellow flag on the screen. And the host can control in which sector the yellow flag is in.
The screen pop up wouldjust say "EV MODE"
and when the driver gets out of the yellow flaggedzone, the screen popup goes "green green, all good

I figured outa way to make grass and gravel traps work, by putting these invisible waves. so now you can't just cut the track however you want.

To prevent cutting on my track, i just made the inside curbs very aggressive so you don't want to fully go over them

You forgot to consider the fact that most effective cuts are done from the outside. Like having a better exit speed or cutting a chicane.

well, for mods, when you upload a mod, it takes the Preview.png image and puts that one, but you need to be careful because when you export the map in trailmappers it replaces that file with it's own

How did you make the ground align so well with the road @fossil grove
select the right and left edges of the road, and separate it into a new mesh. After that extrude them outwards. When things start clipping especially in the inside of tight corners, just select the clipping terrain, press m, and click "merge on center"

So here's what u gotta do
In your road mesh,
You need to apply the array modifier
Connect the start and end of the roads
And then hit alt, and select the outer side of your road, hit "p", and select "separate selected" or whatever it says. And then you extrude it out on the separated mesh I usually call "line". If there are overlapping faces from extrusion, select the outer vertices of the overlapping faces. Hit "m" and select "on center" and voila. A workflow for terrains. For the terrains outside of the barrier, I just either make my own mesh or use the built in landscape plugin.
