The Mechanic is a master of craftsmanship and can build traps and other mechanisms to trick enemies.
One of my ideas for him is that he'll be linked around traps, and he'll have a subclass that gives him some neat effects when he steps on them.
The Mechanic starts with a t1 Worn Pickaxe, it deals 1-8 damage and duelist ability would probably be peirce or smth.
The Mechanic starts with a unique workbench item that allows him to melt down weapons into liquid metal and wood. He can use 10 wood to create barricades, but there are a lot more things that can be crafted at the workbench. Here's a list of them:
Activation Mine: Can be used to directly activate something like a trap or some other items that I'll get to later, or it can activate a Fuse. Crafted with 5 wood and 2 string.
Fuse: Can be activated by traps, being lit on fire, or an Activation Mine. Each tile of fuse takes 1 turn to burn down, and the other side of the fuse can activate other items or traps. You can also attach them directly to bombs to make them activate when the Fuse runs out. 1 tile of Fuse = 1 string
Gas Fuse: Works just like a regular Fuse, but it burns up instantly, allowing for some neat setups. Crafted with 1 string and 10 liquid metal
Item Launcher: Can be activated directly with traps or Activation Mines. You can put thrown weapons or potions in them. There are 5 slots for items to be put in, and items of the same type can be stacked in the slots. You can also put bombs in them to activate them on impact with something or landing. Also the power of bombs and thrown weapons would increase a little. Crafted with 5 wood, 2 string, and 10 liquid metal.
Build Cover: simply covers traps and builds so that enemies can step on them without noticing and covers any of your builds except for Item Launchers. This would be useful because my idea is that enemies would notice that there are trap mechanisms lying there and walk away. These would prevent that. Crafted with 2 string.
