#Gamemodes, an extra thing to come with the Challenges

Yeah, challenges are a thing, but what if you could change the game entirely? Thats why i think of gamemodes!
Basically, they change how you play or is supposed to beat the game, and if you are feeling spicy, you can also add challenges! Maybe there could be challenges made just for a specific gamemode, or certain challenges wouldnt be allowed in certain gamemodes.

alright, i dont have many ideas but here is what im thinking rn:

🗡Survival: you are locked into a huge room full of walls, doors, traps, pits and spawners. Your objective is to survive all waves, which are incoming enemies that get stronger as waves pass, on the final wave you have to defeat the boss of the floor! Each floor's Survival layout is different, both to match the way the map exists and the layout of each boss. All enemies could also have different mechanics, for example: crazy thief from floor 6 (prison) could have reduced chance of stealing, but when it steals it will start running from you around the place, if it gets too far, your item is gone!

each wave you complete, items, like weapons, armor, gold, potions, ANYTHING of the current or next level (you can get leather armor in the sewers, but also a small chance of getting mail armor earlier) can appear in the middle of the map, the equipment can be cursed or upgraded

oh and there is no quests, like sad ghost

when you defeat the boss, stairs will appear in the middle of the map, and when you go through them, you will be sent to a shop where you can spend the gold found. There will be another stair to go to the next floor, but then the shop will be gone!

in short:
the objective in survival is to kill enemies based on waves, then tnere will be a boss, once boss defeated there will be stairs and u go on shop, buy and sell stuff and then go to the next region, your objective is to defeat yog, and on the last stairs there will be the amulet!

ascension in Survival basically restarts all waves but there is no boss, the curse gets stronger as turns pass (freezes for a few turns once an enemy is killed)

once all waves are defeated, you will recover health and stairs will appear so u can go back to the last arena, where the waves will reset again

oh, and there is still shop in ascension! Some items will reset (like throwable weapons) but they will get slightly more expensive

banhammer Home Equipment: a normal game... except no items spawn, just gold, potions and throwable weapons, nothing else, you are basically forced to rely upon your starting items. Once you go to the next region you will be able to choose a new weapon and armor

your old items will be replaced by those items, and the upgrades on them will be transferred to the items you chose

if the Duelist's subclass is Champion, then when she grabs a new weapon, she will still keep the old weapon, but the new weapon woll only inherit half of the upgrades from the old weapon

if she wants to replace a new weapon, she must have a weapon equipped, the weapon on her inventory will be the one replaced. If she has no weapon equipped, one of the two weapons on her inventory will be automatically replaced!
