i adjust it depending on the surrounding context
as i said, its adjusted depending on the surrounding context, including the karma symbols they are dividing, so it makes sense that most of the ones with similar symbols are similar in length

I fixed the issue (I hope) by moving some rooms (as well as outlines and the karma gate text) a pixel to the left. Is this good, or are there issues with anything (specifically borders/connections)?
(feel free to respond whenever, it's 1:42 A.M. where i am and i'm going to sleep after this post)

i only go out of my way to fill in geometry if it's completely encompassed by the room but ill fill it in if you think it looks better

minor nitpick but the left entrance of DS_C03 is horizontal
about this, all the other pipes were painted over and this is the only one not
incorrect left connection of DS_D03

minor nitpick but the rightward connection of LF_E02 is vertical - this is not communicated with the current line
otherwise LF is good
Subterranean appears to be connection-mistake free, no changes needed

connection dotted lines are completely absent here
connection to SH_A26 (merchant room) is in the wrong spot
SH_S10 connection is also in the wrong spot
nothing else for SH
ok i have now checked 7/12 regions and i will take a break for the night
fixed both HI ones
i may change this if i need to seriously update the map again but for now its too minor of a thing

we tried some alternatives but eventually agreed that this was the most clear visually

On old maps they are yellowish
i think the new colour is a lot more visible comparatively
i intentionally increased the saturation and made it a bit more orange to do so
i tweaked a lot of the pole/accent colours for other regions as well, not just depths

The Exterior map has the wrong pearl icon
same pearl symbol issue present in Shaded's map as well
(checked the other maps and no inconsistencies seem to be present)
and if we want to argue over which one's more "correct", the passage artwork Wanderer symbol is closer in shape to the one that's used on 15/17 pearl locations than the "incorrect" one used on only the Shaded and Exterior pearls
