how do you leave the sky islands as hunter? I’ve been in a cycle of death for the past 40 cycles trying to brute force my way out of sky islands and nothing I do will work.
50 million people type .repost at once
My first repost in like 7 months
im so done with [spoilers]
genuinely how do you progress through it as hunter
every turn I take a cyan lizard bites my head off or a dropwig camps where I need to go every cycle
hunter implies youll have more knowledge about rainworld to deal with obstacles
they never spawned on my monk campaign this is the first time I have ever seen them
have you played survuvor?
no but I hunted with monk I just didn’t restart because I didn’t want to lose my progress
losing progress?
never going through shaded citadel EVER again 🙏
if I restart I’d have to do all the five pebbles stuff again right?
im not really sure what youre asking here •~•
im saying I wouldn’t restart so I could start a survivor campaign because I don’t want to spend all the time going through the same stuff
so I just finished the game as a monk which probably isn’t the best to prepare for hunter I suppose?
If needed, you can always try another path
There is always more than one path, and if worst comes to worst, you can always restart your hunter run (but isn't recommended, trail and error works better imo
)
so I would plan on going a different path but the thing is I accidentally stumbled upon the most efficient way to five pebbles so I don’t know where anything else is
and went to the end from sky islands route so I don’t know my way around anywhere else
You can always try exploring more areas in a different campaign and continue trying Hunter
oh are there more ways to exit farm arrays than just sky islands?
Really depends whether or not you are willing to explore more of the world

You can always explore around and find out
ok simple question, does hunter campaign get easier once you get out of the start of the game?
cause the only reason im struggling with surviving is because i cant move around the terrain in sky islands or farm arrays at all without dying
it may or may not become easier
depending on your skill level
Depends on your definition of "get easier"
like if you have to kill stronger animals im fine with that as long as you don’t have to do crazy parkour to fight them
But throughout your travels you will become more experienced, in turn aiding your journey
clearly I become experienced slower than most if its taking me 40+ cycles to find a shelter
Why would you need to undo game progress to do another slugcat
They're separate campaigns
Anyways if you're stuck with routing in hunter you could open up the easier slugcats survivor or monk and investigate the farm/sky islands vicinity with em to learn about good routes you want to take without being minced by harder enemies
my first hunter game had attempts into the hundreds, almost 200 at one point
attempts to find shelters
I mean, in my opinion, the start of Hunter is when it's hardest, but... it is VERY subjective, so I would take that opinion with a grain of salt
Hunter is meant to be the hard mode campaign in Rain World. Encountering challenging section is to be expected, after all.
Each person tackles the campaign in their own way. Some people, like myself, are more methodical and like to plan ahead. Others just wing it and go for a few tries, inching their way towards a goal until they make it to their target.
If you're confused or don't really know how to take on a certain section or enemy, you're free to spend a few burner runs just familiarizing yourself with the environment, getting used to the new enemies, combat tactics, platforming and the like, until you feel confident enough in that section to improve your performance during your later serious attempt.
If you're having major issues with the platforming side of things, you can always load up your Survivor campaign, go to that area, and practice that platforming with less aggressive enemies and lower stakes. Your Hunter campaign will not be affected and will be paused while you play Survivor. No progress will be lost.
Overall, you need time to learn and hone the skills needed to successfully make it to the end of the Hunter's campaign, but with enough patience, dedication and perseverance, you'll make it through.
