#uh hello i just like bought this like game with dlcs and stuff i have this thing called remix or som
1 messages ยท Page 2 of 1
i quit with this bs
i'm watching a full playthrough now
been stuck on too many levels
the fun is discovering ways to get around, when its intended to
not when its unfairly and indirectly intended to
i'm stuck in a room with 2 stealth lizards and i have to climb all the way up to somewhere
i know the game is supposed to be unfair
but genuinely if my first playthrough in any game was this hard, i would NOT ever play it again
the only thing still keeping me up is the hope to get artificier
and i'm not getting him if i don't have direct help
lowkey gonna watch tutorials and sh
i quit with the first experience thing
i know its good for no spoilers
but
i would prefer getting spoiled a part of the game than having to spend 2 hours just trying to get past some rooms
If you genuinely feel like quitting, we can just ALWAYS give direct advice ๐ฅน
Even a non-blind playthrough can be fun, at least if you don't find the "intended" method of playing enjoyable...
no no its not about advice
its like
because of skill and stuff
You switched from Monk to Survivor, right?
beating a room as in a first playthrough
this far
has like the chance of 5% to succeed
Monk is easier than Survivor, so you can switch back if you're struggling that much
if i sswitch to monk
i'll have to get all the way to shaded cidatel again, get to the leg and try to beat it
easier with survivor, lizards don't really change for monk
well i think so
struggling with this room
theres 2 stealth lizards guarding the entrance to the other room
and the second room has a huge pole in the middle of the place
if one of the stealth lizards enter that room its over too
their tongue could reach me
I'm trying to think of techniques that could help...
i went to the other way around last time but it seems like not much will change
How much do you use pipe juking? (the strategy of repeatedly entering and exiting a room transition)
(And would that even be helpful here...)
quite a bit if i'm gonna be honest
Ok, nevermind then, I would've suggested using it more if not...
it'd probably be helpful, but since they are stealth lizards, it'd be way less efficient
they could just throw their tongue at me, lowering my chances of reaching the pipe
the only way i know how to get out of their tongues is like doing a slide or something but the place is too small to do that
nor can i do a backflip there
Are you getting caught by their camouflage, or evading them after you notice?
i already know where they are
but since they act like pink lizards and have that tongue
its way harder
And I assume there's no room to evade them?
It could also be possible to lure them down a room to a closer pipe, then juke them, then make a break for it back up...?
I'm trying to think how I normally do things...
Oh, actually, here's a question: How much do you attack things, and with what?
i usually evade fights, since its better most of the time
but when i am fighting
i use mostly spears, rocks sometimes too
That is good
However, it's not quite WHY I asked...
but luring him and juking him is way harder
What utility have you seen rocks have?
stun
...Dang it, you already knew
but hes like a pink lizard
he'll be above me
which i can't aim up withouth a backflip i think
and since he has that tongue
hitting him is way harder
harder to aim
Actually, here's something I don't think you know: ||If you get caught by a lizard, you will not necessarily instantly die; if you survive, there's a window in which you can still throw things, and you can throw a rock to get it to release you||
oh yeah i know that
i tried it once because i noticed i could still jump while in their jaws
but its too hard
chance of missing is big atleast for me
and i don't think theres spears here
i know theres a spear, but in the next room
wait let me try this once more
got through it because for some reason he got flung
but when i tried to jump to the pole i have to go to
my charged jump broke ๐
just didn't work at all
may be the lag
just because of this i'll try again
there is nothing i can do
theres like a little tunnel
but its not accessible
it probably is accessible but only through some movement techs i wouldidn't be able to learn in a lifetime
i died
this is why i want artificier
The tunnel on the left? It should be accessible just by jumping to the left, though...
i want to kill every creature that resides on this game
You can check your map to see the room's geometry to confirm
its only reachable through the top rock with a pole in it, but its too tight for that
Are you sure...?
there was a hidden tunnel ๐
Just by jumping to the left you can't reach?
Wait were you trying to jump through the hole above?
theres a hidden tunnel in the left wall
i was tryna jump on that rock next to the tunnel
Yeah this is the one I was confused how you couldn't get to
its camouflaged to the ambience
Yeah, checking the map might be pretty important, there's a few more hard to see tunnels like that-
That might be able to get you through that room consistently, at least
And you can always try:
- Let lizard notice you
- Fall down
- Go up via a tunnel
this game truly is unfair
also what do these green lizards do they don't look like stealth ones but they look really powerful
i do have a spear
maybe i could crouch
My belief is that Rain World is never unfair, but your own ability to get out of seemingly unfair situations may be inadequate
(Just, as a general statement, not you specifically)
okay i have an idea
if the situation is unfair
why don't i make it fair by learning every single tech this game has to offer
not so unfair anymore
its like putting v1 to fight 2 dogs
You do realize the tech document is like a bajillion pages long, right?
i'll learn the best ones for each situation
(The actual number is like, 50 or 80 or something)
Also... I don't really think learning movement tech will help all that much
You will not learn wiggleflight
It requires frame perfect inputs
me?
(So I have heard)
...I hope that's a joke
its not a joke but i'm not downloading a macro for this
i could engineer a double tap machine for 2 inputs, which is like A and D
and make it as fast as possible
with some manual assistency too
yeah i'm just joking about this, too lazy to do that but theorically
If you genuinely try using wiggle flight to get through the leg you will be spending far too much time to overcomplicate a solution
Anyway, I can think of maybe 1 piece of tech that would be of use to you
throw it
I would not recommend you learn it specifically for this, but...
It's called Fast Pole Climb
I can grab a gif, please hold
k
oh
i was thinking about something like that earlier but i didn't know it worked and was actually a tech
Even just learning to do it slowly could help
i was wondering if i could reset momentum when i like switched sides
apparently its true and it can be used for poles??
I usually intersperse my climbing with a few of these now that I know a bit of how to do it, and it is noticably faster, so it could be just what you need to outrun lizards
i'm gonna just rush through the lizards but i'll try to do it when theres a pole
There's definitely other solutions though
If you'd like to practice more, I'd recommend arena - sandbox is perfect for this
i didn't even know there was a sandbox
only if i knew that earlier
also
i have the watcher dlc activated ever since i started playing just remembered
i think it introduces new creatures and stuff
not sure
I think you're fine to stay here, I hear Watcher doesn't add anything to the vanilla campaigns that Downpour doesn't already
It does not add new creatures, I know that much
got past it
i just found some worms
i can't get it out of my hand
is this something useful or like food
i can't throw it i mean
is this a hook
they keep going around like ziplines
idk how i can use it though
...Are you tired of me saying "experiment" or do you need a direct answer?
no i don't really mind but for this one i'll need a direct answer
none of the buttons i know are working
even the "special" one
it keeps like
activating randomly
Have you tried jumping?
...Ok well the answer is ||jumping while you're in the air
||
yo this is sick
i learned how to use it
is it learnt or learned
forgot

i feel like banjo kazooe or something
Learned
So it's never sick?
i mean
kinda for now
most parts are hard
but what about other slug cats
survivor looks boring he doesn't have a fun gimmick
thats why i want artificier or spearmaster they look cool on the cat selection menu
The gimmick is you get to explore the world for the first time
i mean yeah
but i want bloodshed
i don't want to fear creatures
i want them to fear me
I'd advise you not to just rush through to the end for this
if this game ever gives me a character thats strongly offensive or has a cool gimmick related to hostility
You can do that as Survivor too, y'know
i mean
yeah i threw a grenade at an old man and stole his bananas
but i can't have any more grenades ๐
Who needs grenades?
i mean
wait
is there a slug cat that can punch stuff or like any way to punch creatures
i want to cause bloodshed through the most inconventional ways
yo g
tell me
these weird green worms from some regions ago
when i picked them up
they started flashing like timed bombs
And then...?
i never waited long enough to discover if they were actual bombs
but if they really are
i'm going to throw it at anything i see
death by larva
follows this thread
i hate that worm
yeah i'm taking a break from this
i'm stuck in a room
started to rain
๐
i'm gonna play sigma boy tycoon 2 player in roblox now goodbye
you got spears and rocks bro isnt that enough ๐ญ
i'm back
didn't watch any playthroughs yet
got too lazy
next time i stop i'll watch one
a hell naw bruh
stealth slizards can hide in pipe blind spots
if they werent stealth enough
this is worse than parasital poles
yo i just accidently learned wiggleflight
accidentally? ๐ฅน
yeah bro i give up on this game
first playthroughs are fun at the start
with NO spoilers
but everything has a breaking point
i could easily reconstruct a beautiful run with just the losses i've had in it
but if you use the same mug too many times it'll leave marks
or even break
mid game at first playthroughs are the worst things ever
yeah the games unfair on porpuse but
the games almost niche for a reason
not because its punishing
but its too harsh on new players
thats what makes most of them quit
i mean the games pretty skill based too, but some parts have insane rng aspects, in wheter a creature spawns or not, in wheter the creature's spawn location can be worked with or not
i was really resilient on this game
but no shield is unbreakable
only time i'm coming back to this game is when i watch 2-3 playthroughs and discover how to beat it
i give early game a strong 7.5/10, midgame a 3-5 at maximum out of 10, and about end game, i don't know yet the mid games too harsh to let me reach endgame withouth essential advanced knowledge
It's a shame to see you drop the game...
I find that many people drop the game, stop thinking about it, and then come back a year or more later
So if you've enjoyed it at all, that would be my recommendation
And also, on this point, there is far less RNG on this than you seem to think; the only thing with creatures that I would say is RNG is where you happen to first see them in a given cycle
thats the bad thing
i always meet creatures in terrible positions on my cycles
and theres nothing i can do about it at all
like the one i'm currently in
I think you can do more than you realize, but I unfortunately can't give any advice on the matter
theres a stealth lizard thats either hidden in pipes i have to go, or they're in poles, or they're grouped up on a key pipe i have to go to to reach the next rooms
i do realize i can restart cycles by eating enough and hibernating but then i wouldidn't be able to reach the next shelter
One thing I can say, though:
If you are not enjoying the game, take a break. Whether that break is a day, a week, or a year long, the game will be waiting for you when you come back and are less frustrated
i did take a 1 day break
still stuck on the same place
i mean the game is hard and all but i am NOT spending 5 hours to get past a single room because of my rng
Rain World is a difficult game. You are meant to struggle, and those struggles are meant to be overcome, but you should not put so much pressure on yourself to progress that you quit because you're stuck on one area for a while
the problem is
with pressure or not
it doesn't change the result
just like how seedlings can have mutations with a really low change, its just how i have to keep dying until i get past them
more complex steps in a mathematical equation won't change the result no matter what
i try to be positive but sometimes even clouds can't fully hide the sun
opportunities appear and i take them as much as i can
but even the sun has a time limit
wait
Wait a second... "even clouds can't fully hide the sun" would mean you can always see the sun, which would mean there's always hope
its the opposite
hope can't hide the result
no matter how big it is

but
all of this negativity is giving me hope
even if i don't believe in such a weird concept like hope
even vessels of two faces have sides
lowkey
i think i might do it
or should i get a macro to do some weird ass tech to absolutely fling lizards
PEP TALK SUCCESSFUL
WHO said i would start again
probabilities are never guaranteed
for someone to win someone has to lose
but all this negativity is giving me hopes
i remembered that
if you find comfort in the middle of the fire, you don't need anything else in life
i have seen the hell that resides in my mind but yet i search the heaven that persists in my heart
yo twin
you're uselessly helpful right now twin
you made me look at myself before looking at you again
withouth a single word
(Help you're using language too flowery and metaphorical for me to tell what you mean-)
yo my bad
i just talk like that sometimes
its inconscient
sorry
Nah, it's fine
What I did get out of it is: You will try playing the game again
And that is what I care about
this community can be as edgy or as strict as it can be, but as i said earlier, the empathy doesn't lack, no cloud can hide the sun fully
what is that
gonna give up on artificer if they still gonna keep having 50 lizards per room bro
far comparisons, but twins in essence
if you think survivor is bad you havent struggled yet
theres different routes to different areas
Be careful of talking about campaigns the OP hasn't played yet
i don't mind
artificer is similar to survivor in their essence, they just have extra steps
ok but difficulty wise its awful
in the end the result will always be the same
lowk i guess i could try to reset the cycle if i wanna deal with less right?
||like by killing them and sheltering||
Whoops
why'd you remove the message
๐ฅน
@
Well, accidentally silent pinged felpers-
Dont say things on a whim just in case it spoils the op
ok
dw
There was a message I tried to reply with the ping to to get it removed but then it got removed already-
i don't really mind
how do I put a spoiler on my message?
i heard something about it but idk if its true
don't worry about most spoilers the only thing i want unspoiled in the endings
and if it is true im gonna get it done asap
It wasn't silent I got the notification
I would recommend making your own thread (or moving to your own if you already have one) rather than asking questions here
And deleting doesn't remove notification
ok
I lowk spoiled the entire game for myslelf and haven't even beaten it all yet
I meant that I deleted the message
i spoiled some things for myself
was wondering why i got pinged here
I know it still pings, of course
but for me, what do spoilers mean if no matter how many turns a train takes, it'll still reach its terminal
The one time I try to actually ping felpers when I see something spoilers and I messed it up
Like
||this|||
||Spoilysss!!||
best to not delete the message in the future anyway
it's fine if it ends up resolved quickly, would rather be safe than sorry
i want to explode the game
what do spoilers mean if no matter how many turns a train takes its still gonna explode on the first stop โ๏ธ
Yeah I kinda just panicked 'cause then I ended up replying to the wrong message-
Whyyyy it's a great game
'Cause the one I tried to reply to got deleted already-
no matter how rocky or tall a mountain is, the end will always be the same as the others
difficult for me
stuck in a room for the past 4 hours
exactly why i quit
It's generally recommended to just ask one of us instead for that cause looking it up runs the risk of also getting spoiled on a lot of other things
so many times
are there no other routes to a similar room
or another
Which room is it
how do you know
i searched it all
unless you explored the entire section ur in
explored the sections before the room and aside from the end
what sector ru in
Those rooms are quite linear, unfortunately
i don't remmeber honestly
you can always backtrack if you need to
thats what they all say
if worst comes to worst you could always look at a map or something
all roads lead to rome
Alright a hint: ||who says you have to go through all that on your own??||
do i have to do it on multiplayer??
Nope
worm?
the first??
its just the leg
like outskirts?
what
... Ye
like
yeah i'm in outskirt's leg how could you know
didn't really help at all
whats the worm gonna do about the 2 stealth lizards camping 3 rooms in a row
ok well
You may want to experiment a bit more with it
do u want direct help on how to escape
i have to go through
and i'm surely not gonna go through any of the ones i haven't gone through like this
That's not how the campaigns work whatsoever
Each is a separate story with different conclusion and new features/locations/worldstate to explore
was everything about campaigns or was it what it teached me with time
Not just a reskin slugcat
no matter how many extra steps you add to a mathematical question
the result doesn't change
different slug cats, different campaigns, they all have a ending
their essences are all similar
Well yeah?
But different plots entirely
That's like saying "oh yeah all movies are the same essence they all have an "ending" at the end"
so movies can't have an ending because they would all be too similar?
i said essence not form
You're speaking pretty cryptically ngl
I'm not american either
true that
some campaigns r more fun than others tho
so even if its super hell its cool
yeah they all have endings but idk if id be playing the game if it didnt
ik people wont just be roaming the city in gta without getting bored and doing something like campaign
outskirts cant be this bad bro
Means in riddles, vaguely, sometimes mysteriously, secretive
i never do campaign in gta 5 i only roam around with cars messing with stuff its way more fun
rain world is similar
u can do whatever and roam
your choosing to be stuck in one spot because you think youโve checked everywhere
(you havenโt)
if you need an answer on how to get out of outskirts just ask
and if its still too difficult you could always switch back to monk for a better experience
They're in The Leg, though...?
what is monk gonna do
is he gonna transcend into reality and pass through everything?
plus monk is weaker against lizards so theres nothing i could do with him
and the leg is just
like a staight line
there is nowhere else i could go
the only part that theres 2 options to go, one of them is blocked and the other is guarded by bad rng placed lizards in 3 rooms in a row
Monk does have a few things that make it easier
explain his light weight and low damage
how am i gonna get out of lizards
if hes the weight of a leaf
how am i gonna stun them
if its like throwing out pebbles at dragons
If you'd like a small, slightly spoilery list:
- ||Less, and generally less difficult creature spawns||
- ||Creatures are more likely to target creatures other than you||
||Weight actually has very few impacts on gameplay||
but
it doesn't let me escape their jaws
Well, I suppose I should elaborate, then: It's more that they're more likely to ignore you in general
they're stuck in the pipes
Also stun times are unaffected
I would consider Monk being worth trying, at least
takes too long to get there again
You can also try exploring a different direction as Monk; it's an open world game, after all
Well, if you want to go through it: Uhhhhh you don't
But remember that you don't have to go through this way
so can i skip from outskirts to the last part of the game because paths are optional
this game lowkey stresses me everytime i play it
there is NO balacing in fun there is NO good execution of fun there is NO chance that a person will fully beat the game in their first playthrough
I... I disagree
its like one of these games where it only gets fun after 80 hours of gameplay
I also disagree with that-
One of the biggest things about the game is the expectation that you learn when you play and it gets easier then
you or the game
expectations and happenings aren't the same ๐
i expect to get home and find a million dollars in my bed, but it doesn't happen
i expect to beat the terrible rng i have
but it doesn't happen
I think that's not the definition of expecting-
the chance is never zero
but just because of that it doesn't mean i'm gonna hit that 0.00001%
quite literary "99% of gamblers quit before they win" but rephraised
and more indirect
I think this is also one of the reasons that game critics despised this game
It's a sharp learning curve
i'm gonna be real with you now
whrre thst
the game has high expectations, makes you learn how to go through a harsh experience
but in the end
You've... never been there?
its just a hard game
nothing more
just like grinding games
where you go through a lot of harsh moments just to win a reward in the end
I mean it's more than just being a hard/grindy game
but in its essence
But it can feel like that early on, I suppose
they're similar
idk the names bro
i mean yeah the games hard and all and it can have fun
but much like grinding games
the fun lasts for seconds
then its all over the mountain again
If it is a game that's designed that way, why do you think people like it?
wait so ru on survivor ir monk
thats why its community is niche, nobody plays it at first and enjoys it most of the time
i thought u were on survivor
i am on survivor
Survivor, and switching back to Monk has been recommended
whats the issue with survivor
i am NOT rewinding like 8 hours of gameplay just to beat a room
ru stuck
Stuck in The Leg
whats that look like
leg
beo
I don't know how you haven't been there honestly-
not helping
i probably have
One of the biggest things I see within it is that it's a risk/reward type thing
and its always inconsistent
i just dont remember what it looks
just how gambling is more inconsistent than like a low paying job
It's uhhhh got the green spark looking things floating around in the background and foreground?
Does that help?
can i get a screenshot ๐ญ
in the 100 years you'd spend to hit a jackpot, you'd have way more if you worked only with the low paying job
Yeah, it is
the leg especially has a lot of punishing portions where it feels like there's no reward for it
My argument is the reward is the knowledge that you gain from learning from the deaths and things, but again you're right in that it's a difficult game
anyways if you know where you to go it wont take you 8 hours to get out of outskirts
First room after the gate is this one
as survivor
i've died over 50 times on this place
wheres the knowledge
That is just not true
bro WHERE is this
no matter how smart you are
ive never played monk
you can't change facts
Do you keep dying in the exact same way in the exact same place?
Have you tried methods to avoid dying that way?
bad rng
This is Survivor, and you can go there as Survivor-
there is NO other method to avoid dying the same way
Unfortunately, I think I have to say: This is factually wrong
maybe ive been there i just didnt have as much trouble
but yeah atp switch to survivor
explain to me how would you deal with the first room having 2 stealth lizards guarding the only pipe you can go, then the next room has more 2 stealth lizards guarding the next pipe, then the next room too has 2 stealth lizards guarding the only pipe you can go to
The Leg is a pretty memorable area to me, even if you never struggled there, but...
Describe to me your current process/strategies
i think i have
Sorry, if I'm being annoying, I'm just trying to understand your struggle here and see if there's a way I can help
Rain World isn't for everyone, certainly, but I don't want you to feel totally discouraged
idk if that was a spoiler
I don't think we'll have any chance of being able to help if we don't know what you're trying
It might not be wise to stay here if you're worried about spoilers
but yeah from what i remember that area sucked
in the first room i go in the hidden pipes even if theres a stealth lizard guarding it, sometimes i can get past it, then the next room i just go up, then i try to evade the stealth lizard hiding in one of the pipes and distract the other lizard guarding the only pipe there, then the next room is just
i don't know how to explain it
2 more lizards guarding the same place, but since they can climb
theres nothing i can do
If you can, you can use noises to distract them, or use noise such as jumping to see how they react to spot where they are ahead of time
theres no way i can shoot spears at them because they spawn high
how do i use noises to distract them if they're quite literary in front of me when i get to the pipe
You can also bait them into room transition tunnels and do a little swap at the last second
stunning won't do since theres 2 of them
i could stun both but the first would wake up
i'm not the john wick of games either
If you can get them stunned at all, then maybe you could try killing them...? IDK
i used as much determination as i could to try and keep playing the game using all tips i could
but it doesn't work
I'm not really the best at advice for someone with this kind of struggle

Would you feel defeated if you left and either came back later, or found another way?
i already left and came back multiple times
and there is no other way
the only other way is through the worm room but they can't reach the end
i've tried everything i could multiple times
i'm using survivor
Op is doing survivor
i did monk and then left because someone told me that i should only use it to test mechanics
But the reverse of that might be good advice, unsure
A campaign swap isn't going to help as much as it seems like it would
Ok well that was bad advice-
and get used to the game
it was you that gave me it
lol
Was it?
yeah
Lmho
at the start
either you or the bunny guy that was with you in the start
And sorry if I'm the root cause of your trouble
are there no things to fight then with tho
no
spears are limited here
don't have enough
and its 2 slizards in each room
so i'd need double the spears
what color are they
stealth
cool
they're stealth lizards
oops
do you want a direct answer on how to deal with that
Would you think it too risky to pull your spears back out of the lizard to throw again?
tried it like 4 times
i just need any answer
ok
not even the wiggleflight i learned can help me
Wait you know wiggleflight๐ฅน
Peak๐ฅน
searched it up and found out it was wiggleflight
talked to mccool about it some days ago
What do you mean by this btw?
theres a room full of the grappling worms, theres a pipe at the top, but theres no support that i could use the worms in order to reach it so yeah
lmk if u want a direct strat to get past them
Even with momentum?
ok
i think i could use wiggleflight to reach the pipe
but again
i think it only moves to the same room i was stuck in
||stealth lizards are very weak, spears will likely one shot them, you could try luring them to another room then throwing a rock at their head, then a spear at their rear, either causing them to die or run away||
There's not really a direct answer to anything, more just direct advice since any method is still somewhat reliant on chance
i don't have enough for 2 lizards
in every room
It moreso just sways chances heavily in your favor
You can pull spears back out of lizards
If you have one spear, you have enough
pull out your spear from them
That is just not true
chances are heavily against my favor
reuse reduce recycle
They do not die in one hit
If I remember correctly, they take 2 on average
stuck in a cycle where theres 2 lizards in every room i gotta go
stealth ones? from survivor? they usually run or die after 1
i am NOT resetting my cycle like some other guy said
i didn't get a checkpoint before this one
Nope๐ฅน they do neither
white lizards??
Yup
bro idk how strong urs are
the past like 4 checkpoints in shaded cidatel, i didn't have enough food to use them only until i got here
i swear as survivor they end up running after a good hit
You might be thinking of something else happening
going through citadel is so awful
i hate that place
have u tried the other modes
in base theres another thats like an arena mode
useless
that just spawns stuff that you can fight
ion got friends
to practice
Arena could work for practice
and sandbox is useless
thats what i did to get good at killing lizards
whats practice gonna do against an atomic bomb
Sandbox can be helpful for practicing combat and such
theres no way i could pratice some techs like getting above them and stunning them
dont stealth lizards have some of the weaker stats
if half of them are on tunnels
Yeah no I get that
trusty rock and spear
like its gonna work
I wish I could see you play so I could give some more direct tips
That's so true lmho
Getting above lizards is not a reliable strategy, by the way
You always want to be on the same level vertically
only greens right
its like having a tutorial on how to beat an earlygame boss with endgame gear
You don't need this area to beat the game, so by this logic you don't technically need to be there
i meant because of knowledge and room experience
honestly
yeah i give up bro
i'm spoiling this entire game for myself
ok
ion care about first experience if i can't experience it
i won't use no maps
i'm gonna use as many playthroughs as possible
its like telling someone to beat moonlord in their first playthrough
someone who knows about the game would get to him in a few hours
now someone in their first playthrough would take hundreds of hours
not without looking stuff up thats for sure
exactly
Ah yes you've built your first npc house now go ||kill the cultists
||
i didnt even know u could destroy demonite with bombs
was fighting skeletron with gold armor ๐ญ
i haven't even beaten eye of chtulhu yet but i know like 80% of the game's stuff
watched a bunch of playthroughs years before playing it
just how i'm doing with isaac right now
i used to watch playthroughs for it years before buying it
now i've got a bunch of stuff in it and i know what every single item does
I will say watching rw playthroughs won't show you a lot of methods to get through areas for a while as these people are learning as well
including trinkets and easter eggs
who said i'll watch a first playthrouger
AAAAAA I wish I had any tips for you but I really don't
This? Unless you meant starting campaigns for yourself
how do i start a campaign
its like buying a skin for a character you haven't unlocked yet
yeah goodbye see yall in like 1 or 2 months
maybe even days if i take this seriously
or a year if i forget about this game
or maybe i uninstall it so i have enough memory for risk of rain 2
if u do that its better to restart the campaign
and go another route
Or go the same route
then the other with survivor
did they both lead to the leg
yeah
My recommendation if you don't want to play is to just drop the game and come back in like a year or two; it genuinely works for some people for it to click with them like that
have u tried making sure to explore every room before u decide to leave the area? theres cool stuff u could miss
man
i'm gonna do something about this
i already know about sum moon and 3 pebbles or something and an anti gravity placfe
the rest of the playthroughs await me
see yall
That is a lie, in this first playthroughs channel you are next to hundreds of other people playing for the first time who were able to beat it
The game doesn't mesh with everyone and that is fine if you didn't like it. But, it is a completely fair and approachable game if you give it the patience and open mind for experimentation that it deserves.
okay i'm next to hundreds of other people who were able to beat it, now tell me how many people have quit this game on their first playthrough
most people only show the product's positives
but never its cons
to get the attention and make it look big
but when you really look into it
theres a huge shadow behind it
