And yes, hunter is more difficult than Survivor. There isn't any specific tips I can give as if you won surv you should have all the knowledge you need, and it's mostly about practice.
Feel free to document though, and ask if you have any other questions.

ok i made it to outside of ||shaded citadel|| in one of my playthroughs, but my cycle was like 6 and i keep dying. (im assuming im supposed to get to ||looks to the moon||). i know if ||i run out of cycles|| its just gg, so i reset because my run isnt good enough. now im just in an endless cycle of trying to get a perfect run without dying, but its hard when ||scavs|| kill all the ||squidcada|| in ||sky island|| and you get hunted by three ||vultures|| and a ||king vulture|| at once, without even knowing where to go 😭

you can always try a run without resetting, see how far you get, and then move on to downpour if hunter is something you would like to try later
