Having MSC enabled makes quite a few changes to the vanilla map, be warned. Most of them only make the game more confusing, so I personally recommend not using it on a first run.

uh. Immersive World should be fine I guess? Forecast does affect gameplay a fair amount.

the folks that care about game legitimacy have an option in remix that shows which mods are enabled on the loading screen

but the game won't punish you in any way for using mods

#

(we still recommend avoiding them on your first playthrough, just because the vanilla experience is good™)
