so like i am REALLY new to the game, and still cant get a hold of stuff here, most of the time i spent finding food and resting in shelters

Currently i am stuck at the garbage swamp on cycle 40 and have no clue where to go, or what to do because all locations are flooded with monsters

General advice i can think of is, be brave and kill things that are in your way, Or pounce over them - if u cant pounce over them then pelt a rock at them like a bully then try to run past them. Dont feel too bad about dying repeatedly in that area though, the terrain is horrible and the foods kinda scarce

But, yes this enemy uses sound to track your movements

In open rooms try keeping running footsteps/jumping to a minimum, or you can distract them by making noise a distance away with a thrown object

you need to throw a spear down on that platform, a bit to the right where your standing. You might want to practice downthrowing for a bit before hand though....
to downthrow youll need to backflip, and while in the air stop pressing left or right, and only hold down, and then press throw
youd also want to stick a spear on the wall under the pipe when you manage to do that too
