Btw fun fact about myself, i was spoiled on the existance of the "shaded citadel" but not really anything about it other than it was dark and while exploring the map i went to the chimnney cannopy, i was playing the portuguese version of the game and it vaguely translates to "Covered chimnney" and i thought that THAT was shaded citadel but terribly translated, i was kinda bored cuz it didn't turn out to be what i hoped for and i was wondering where the dark areas were... (thought that the gate to the wall led to the dark areas but i never passed it)

I took the gate to industrial complex and accidentally reached the shaded citadel from there, and MAN the fucking vibes it gave me were insane

Eh it could be better in some areas, whoever translated five pebbles in vanilla made it talk about itself in female pronouns and adjectives, but everyone else would use male ones, and then in Downpour he referred to himself as male too xD

Also, portuguese subtitles sometimes make the lore a bit harder to follow since most lore discussion itself is in english but eh

Not 100% mandatory though if you really want

Though it also will benefit to know the lore really well first (downpour again helps in more time to expose it)

Monk is a sort of Easy Mode

It is its own character and that'll reflect in key moments but otherwise is just easier survivor with the routing, goals and gameplay

For some people it's not so worthwhile. I think it's a great campaign to use to explore and do side quests on though

It is possible to browse within it and individually toggle on and off particular features and assists too. It can contain some spoilers but you've beaten survivor, l think the only notable ones you'd see (staying away from the advanced tab) is the names of a couple critters you've already met
