#Struggling with enemies

My first piece of advice is just. don't worry about dying a lot while exploring; that's not necessarily bad. Knowledge is often more important than your life, since you can never lose it. Work with failure rather than against it.
My second piece of advice is - this may sound a little snobby, but bear with me here - the creatures of this world are too complex, and too intelligent, to deserve the title of "enemies". Treat them like you would a real animal - their attacks aren't telegraphed (why would they be), but they're also not necessarily dead-set on killing you specifically.
Observe how they interact with you and other creatures, and see if there's anything useful you can learn from their behaviour.

Hi! I just started rain world and am having a lot of fun. I’m dying a lot, ESPECIALLY after getting to the industrial zone, and I was wondering how I should go about learning the enemies attacks and how to avoid them? I’ve died a bunch of times watching lizards and not really knowing what their next move is going to be. What should I look out for? I generally like learning by trial and error but I’ve noticed this game is especially brutal about that and was hoping to lessen the learning curve a bit lol.
The only time where dying is super frustrating is when I’m trying to cross a karma gate. I’m not sure what to do about food besides bugs and fruit
That makes sense but it’s for sure frustrating to have such unpredictable creatures, even if it’s not bad
There is certainly more than those two, though.
Well, if no two encounters are the same, you can't memorize any patterns. You have to think on your feet, and be prepared to revise your plans at any time.
What others besides killing lizards?
That is for you to figure out. Whenever you find something new, put it in your mouth immediately just to make sure
or as some people here like to call it, step 2 of the GET test for new objects (Grab, Eat, Throw)
I wish I could eat the red grass that the bats like, I just store it in my belly
Well, if the bats like it, that should help you regardless
That’s really funny. I’ll keep that flowchart in mind. It’s the same thing that infants do lmao
