Hey y'all, i just got to the top of the ||metropolis|| and ended up finding and killing the ||scavenger chieftain||, which lead me to a ending where i was presumably locked away from ascending and ruled the scavengers myself, but before i did kill them i figured i'd backup my save so i could spare them (since well, they had a ||mark of communication AND another drone||, so they looked very important to me tbh, and besides i have played some games where you could finish such a interaction withoud bloodshed)

20+ deaths later trying to disarm them by pelting rocks or stealing their weapons and now i'm not sure it can be done, can anyone chip in?

A echo i spoke earlier with DID tell me to go find another way to salvation, and i assumed this was for me to try to resolve this situation peacefully but now i'm not quite sure...

You were asked to go after the chieftain, and to presumably kill it, but it sounds like in this case that's not what you'd like to do...

What would you do outside of interacting with them?

yeahh initially i was excited to be told to go hunt down the scavs at the metropolis but when i realized that their chieftain has a communication mark i really wanted to like speak with them and reach some sort of concensus or whatever?

also that drone... why do they have another one

these are questions i need answears to

and bloodshed doesn't deliver it

how much plausability is there for a Rain World movie?

Minimal, it's pretty small and imo anything corporate would ruin its intricate storyline

But what if it made it's own story that was more easily adaptable to the big screen rather than using the game's? :O

Hmmm, i think the chieftain might have been someone who was also destined for ascension, but botched it somehow and got stuck on earth, and took out his anger by setting up shop on and attacking five pebbles

Any lore in rain world is entirely up to interpretation, another reason why I think a movie based on game events wouldn't work so well

Btw do you remember how well you did when you got to Arti's forth dream? (The one she's running away with one of her child and one with a pearl in paws stays behind and is cornered)

I actually managed to grab a spear nearby and hold the scavs off until the screen went dark xD

I just chalked it up to the pup getting instantly slimed irl but in the dream Arti placed herself on their shoes (or lack thereof) and got to atleast kill some of these scavs

Or maybe they WERE just that badass?

i dunno i have never seen a pup ingame

I don't🥹 my first playthrough was like 15 cycles anyway (i went so fast) so I might not've even had it

Yeah i clearly remember that dream happening in cycle 16 (i think)

15 cycles and like 85 deaths (I had some skill issues then)

Might've been 93 deaths

Yeah i died like 130+ times in my game, mostly trying to get used to her hability, dying underwater, falling to a underhang deathpit or getting killed by a scav, sometimes the odd lizard when i had a massive oopsie

Much more convenient to just use the tongue worm thing in underhand than her hability

I've beaten arti twice, first time l rushed it second time was multiplayer with my partner
