Ok so this might be a little far fetched but bear with me

How do i get past
How do i kill it
It is faster than me
It survived 3 grenades and a spear
It is an abomination and i have to make sure that crooked legnoodle doesnt see the light of day again
Gouromnd can spit up a random item for one food pip if he has no items in his hand, one of those being a vulture worm, by dropping this near the red centipede you can attract a king vulture that could possibly distract it long enough for you to get past you can also spit up a cherry bomb or squid to help you disorient and escape it
I
Dont think there is a king vulture here
And a single throw makes the fat fug tired so cherry bombs would let me live until i meet a pole that i have to climb
Why would spore puffs be a hassle?
I didn’t think of that….. my bad
Farm arrays is pretty far away
Wait
But you can craft
And id need at least two of those right?
Let op figure it out themselves
Very well then
Thank you for the help
He did ask for answer but mb
Ill make sure the crooked legnoodle chokes to death
Fair enough
there is usually enjoyment as well in finding out yourself so if it's possible for someone to do so, that method is generally preferred /nm
I understand that
Gl and let us know how it goes
Feel free to document your playthrough here as well

I didnt kill it but the smokepuffs were enough to slow it down to the point where i lived :D
Btw, what are all the things the game told me at the start?
Just asking in case i forgot some mechanic
I’m not 100% sure but I’ll go check it’s been a while since I’ve played gourmand
Ty :D
I dont think you get any more after the first couple minutes, thanks for making sure i didnt miss something!
Np I thought there was one more tip but I might just be tricking myself
I gotta say
Downpour absolutely ditches the spider in a nuclear reactor feel vanilla had
I dont feel like im a bottom of the foodchain slug when i leave behind 4 corpses every cycle by repeatedly elbow dropping them
Its not necessarily bad
Just a shift in direction
Even with hunter, you dont feel powerful as much as you feel responsible
Your benefits are having a second spear and great motivation to kill
Youre still careful
And the new creatures feel like the ecosystem is moving on without you
And just to hammer that feeling of worthlessness in the game outright fucking kills you forever, consumed and puppeteered
In gourmand the creatures feel like throwing in aoex predators here and there just so you have some hinderance in your journey
The red centipede didnt exactly feel like
A part of the ecosystem
Not when it wiped out all life in the area every cycle
Its simply more
Video gamey
Bit of a rant innit
I understand where your coming at
My first play through I had to carefully plan and actively try and abuse the predictors AI just to move on to the next room
Every room I was on the edge of my seat as I felt so fragile
The second slugcat I played was artificer but I won’t say much so I don’t spoil the fun but everything after the original 3 just feels different
Like I can throw myself into any fight and get away with it most of the time
And to compensate the new slugcats and their advanced survivability they just shove more powerful creatures that just feel out of place
Absolutely
It simply is not quite rain world
And thats fine
We got rain world
This is a more shallow, more ridiculous, and sillier dlc that focuses on the gameplay
It is simply a shame we wont have much more of that vanilla feel in the future
Yaaaaa
