i lowk have no idea what im doing dawg
I GOT THROUGH THE SCAV TOLL
YAYYA
how do i eat the popcorn plant thing
when i touched it it didnt let me eat
Ah
dunno if that helps
Well, yeah, I would rather not spoil the puzzle for you, I doubt it's necessary to survive where you are anyways
am i even supposed to be in ||farm arrays||
You're not really "supposed" to be anywhere
it's an open-world game, more or less
i mean like
where do i go to make progress
Literally anywhere
"progress" in this game is pretty much entirely just learning the mechanics of the game
id also like to learn movement techniques and how to combat sooner or later
otherwise downpour is gonna be hell
that will, eventually, include figuring out how to get to credits, so
I mean, you don't need to be a movement pro to play any campaign, though basic movement tricks certainly help - if you ever do something cool by accident, take note of it and see if you can replicate it. If that's not enough, set aside time to fiddle with the controls and see what you can find.
As for combat ... don't rush it. Fighting is usually not the easiest way to deal with things (given you're smaller and squishier than most of your predators), and you'll have plenty of time to figure it out down the line, once you've mastered the simpler strategies. I for one killed almost nothing on my first Survivor playthrough
The movements mandatory to beat a campaign were taught to you in the tutorial. New movements added in downpour will get their own tutorials. Don't stress
And combat, just trial and error it
If you want you could camp at a shelter you're comfy in, pick an animal that lives nearby, and make a mission of slaying it
But evasion tactic is equally a part of the game
Rainworld is nonlinear and everything interconnects eventually like a spiderweb. Pick a direction you want to explore and haven't been in, and go there. Eventually you'll get somewhere relevant to the story. Even if it takes you shorter or longer, you'll get there
Somehow i killed 1 blue lizard while i was trying out monk 😭
Where?
Good luck
What happened?
ah
following the weird slug icon from the iterators
oops
i wasted a karma flower..
noo theres a vulture im scared
Oh BTW I recommend turning off Jolly Co-op if you're not actually playing co-op. I've heard it makes the game less stable.
oh
can i still recolor my scug?
Uh... maybe? I know Remix Mod adds that functionality, but if you're not already using Remix Mod I don't wanna tell you to enable it just for that.
I on the other hand would tell you to enable remix to use custom colors
A lot of qol toggleable settings in it are also incredibly valuable, though l would recommend reading into them as little as possible, there can be spoilers contained
Use your map to see the terrain
Rain meadow mod on steam
or steam remote play
(there is also parsec, but using it takes more effort setting things up to use it safely)
stab it a couple times more so it wouldnt survive
