So I'm in || outer rim || right now, and I don't know how to get out. I just got in through that corrupt drainage system area and there is just no way for me to leave. All the areas are out of reach and I can't make portals there

I'm pretty sure you can make your way over to the left by an alternate way if you can't cross some gaps. If you keep going left alll the way and end up in some wacky place you can get out of Outer Rim.

yeah. if you eat one of the karma flowers you should be able to teleport away no?

You mentioned going to one of those rotted region so you have the ability right?
