The hint for the locations of the egg spots can be found in the Gameplay Changes section of the Expedition Mode manual, as each slugcat can be seen standing at the spot where the egg would be found in their respective expeditions.```

Upon activating the 8th egg spot, Slugcat immediately gains a rainbow aura and changes colors over time. In future Expeditions, the aura can be activated or deactivated by a button that replaces the progress indicator. The button also gives all Cyan Lizards the same effect. Occasionally the effect will lag on Cyan Lizard tail cosmetic features.
