Hello. This is my first play through of Rain World and I will try to document all of the stuff that happens during my experience

I gave the scavengers a pearl, yet they still killed me 😔

I guess it was because I sort of threw it from afar

And that they were under attack from a lizard during it

Yeah sometimes they just don’t know it’s from you
Maybe there is a sign you can look out for from them?

Yeah I thought they were waving at me after I gave it to them but then I was clipped in the dome by a spear in the same fifteen seconds

I ACTUALLY made friends with the scavengers :D

Right now I’m in a spot with a gate and a bunch of little centipedes

Apparently I accidentally skipped like 50% of the game

Because I didn’t go to shoreline garbage wastes or sky islands

I’m past farm arrays rn

I play on Nintendo and this next part is lagging my game so much

I need some help. I’ve practically made it to the end, but these tentacle creatures with golden circles above their heads keep flinging me away. How do I fix this?

It doesn’t seem like you can go there right now, maybe explore elsewhere and make note of this place

Do I have to wait for a certain cycle? I have no food options and I’m on the first cycle from how many times I’ve died trying to get there

Time isn’t a factor here

You can always use your map to explore other paths, you aren’t trapped here and there are a few ways out

I’ve went plenty of ways and I can’t get out of the area without dying constantly 😔

And I can’t go back up to do anything because I’m deep down the hole thing

Every region has a minimum of two gates (typically there are 3)

I’ve figured out that I need to max out my karma but I don’t know how to do that given the current circumstances

you definitely can!!

that being said, if you're really sure you want to restart, feel free to do so

i personally don't recommend doing so but it's really your choice especially if you're having a lot of trouble

I can’t even find food I’m doing all of this in one take hoping I can do something 😭

Also I didn’t even meet the robot guys which give valuable lore and information I think

And skipped like half the games content by going straight down the farm array hole the quickest way possible because I thought I wasn’t that close to the end

I skipped sky islands shoreline and garbage wastes

And probably more

And I’m sad 😔

It's absolutely possible to escape

But restarting is an okay option if you really really want to. Given that you have to backtrack most of the way.

Found the shaded citadel but decided to leave and went to garbage wastes

Then the scavenger merchant just keeps killing me for no reason when I have no weapon only pearl

Yeah probably but I get set back a cycle and that’s makes me very sad

Anyways SURELY there’s nothing in shaded citadel so I’ll come back to it later

MANY THINGS HAVE HAPPENED SINCE INLAST TALKED

Went to garbage wastes and to shoreline

Met a certain robot person

DEFINITELY did not eat a neuron fly and become permanently glowing

Went all the way back to shaded citadel

Got stuck because no progress and no food

Went out to find other things

Found another area I forgot the name of

Killed my first lizard (I know is pitiful you don’t have to say it)

Found an orange/yellow pearl thing

Rode a vulture

And that’s basically where I’m at

Oh and white lizard is bullshit

Anyways I’m gonna put some images and videos to the corresponding messages once I get them

Very slow

There’s way too much stuff to do in this game

Oh another thing almost have chieftain and got saint

I figured out that I went to chimney canopy but now I’m sure I went the wrong way because I need to go to five pebbles first

Maybe I can go around it then

Or just go east and hope there’s not a gate that takes something above survivor cycle thing

I’m in chimney canopy but I can’t seem to find my way to the wall

I know it’s east but it keeps making me go west because there’s no other way to go

And I can’t beat the game without seeing pebbles

you do not need to go to the wall, this is not the only path available to the destination you want

your best bet is using your map to find areas you have yet to explore

the world is very open, eventually you will make it

Im pretty sure I can go through shaded citadel because it’s obviously above it but I kept getting lost and dying so that’s why I went chimney canopy

where did you hear you need to go east from?

the issue with spoilers is they can be misleading usually

wouldnt that ruin your experience if i told you?
general directions arent too helpful anyway because there may be loops and the rooms might be misleading too. the best way to get to it is for you to explore naturally

Vultures aren’t crazy their kind of stupid but if there’s no cover then it’s difficult

Scavs are so cool

They were around a lot with me but I think that’s because I have high reputation or something

Because they normally came in like groups of 7-10

Also I do not like karma gates

I was at first karma level that whole time and then I had to get a bunch of karma and make the five minute long trek to the wall

It’s fine though
