got to a new sheltwe or something

went poking around

little yellow dude told me to go up to thia place

from it

came like

pink guys

amd a lizard guy came from skmewhere else

and i threw something at him

#

and a big pink guy skewered me

#

i respawn

and the pink guy immediately comes into my base (thumbnail)

i try to escape

he skewers me

#

i try again

#

so i just restart

#

and now i'm on my new file

i have two directives

I decided it wasn't for me the first time I tried it. Put it down for a year until a friend urged me to give it another go.

Its now one of my most played games.

I think it just sometimes takes a bit to click. I hope it does fit you :)

i picked up this game again (after 2 months holy shit) because once more i have no games to play

i got a new shelter,killed an adult noodlefly and moved to industrial complex

#

really sad thing about the noodlelfy

i think i killed it by dropping it out of my shelter

but as soon as i left the shelter i ran away, got a spear and waited for its attack

#

a baby noodlefly followed me and i thought it was alerting its mother of my location

i killed the noodlefly and went back

Rain World is a very weird game as you can probably tell by now monklaugh

It appeals to a very specific audience. A fairly significant percentage of players just ... don't get it the first time around, and then come back later with a fresh perspective and end up loving it.

Seems like you're getting the hang of it, though.

My advice is: don't worry too much about how often you get eaten. What matters is not how often you die, but how much you're able to learn from those failed attempts.
