Spears acting odd with slug pups | Rain World | Page 1

When holding an item and a slug pup the item is held very oddly. It seems to mostly be only affecting survivor because when I go into arena with slug pups it does not seem to happen to any other character besides survivor. It is making it very difficult to use spears and rocks to hit stuff because I can’t tell if the item is in my throwing hand or off hand and half of the time i end up just throwing my slug pup into the mouths of lizards by accident. This bug just seemed to just start happening one day so I imagine a new patch may have caused it. I’ve tried playing in a separate save slot and even deleting my character (I was not that far in that run anyways). I’ve not seen anything about this bug online so I was going to post it here to see if anyone else is having this issue.

Ive been looking at it and it really does look like the slug pup is holding on to it or something once is very odd but I’m definitely holding it because I can throw it and whatnot when it’s on the right hand

I guess what I’m trying to say is I’m not very sure now if I’m holding the spear, it kinda looks like both the survivor and the pup are grabbing onto the spear

Pups do some weird stuff sometimes, it's possible lol

I’m thinking about deleting and reinstalling the downpour DLC, will that loose progress?

No it shouldn't

Saves are stored separately from the dlc

Might just be how the player juggles spears while holding a pup

It does it with one pup too if I’m holding them in a hand

I can live with the bug but it’s definitely annoying because like I said I keep throwing my pup at lizards because I can’t tell what hand the spear is in. Also I have videos before with me holding spears normally with a slug pup so it definitely something new that ether I did or an update.

There’s been some patch notes for watcher so that’s my guess is that it messed with something
