items in shelters and rift icons dont show up when viewing the map on a sleep screen

viewing the map while the cycle is going works, but i dont wanna have to worry about running out of time and getting killed while trying to see where the pearls i left in shelters are and where the rifts are. it also means that i cant see what items-in-shelters and rifts are in a region before entering it

i did find out a workaround, idk if i got all the cases covered you press B to select which map you wanna look at and then you doubletap R at a particular slow speed

if you doubletap R too fast icons wont show up, if you doubletap R too slow it just returns to the map ball thing

oh these btw these are nintendo switch buttons i guess

im just gonna hope its self evident
