So done the spinning top ending. I remember encountering golden leafs on shattered terrace map icon and cold storage. Then a golden rift in shattered terrace as I was going to spinning top ending in ancient urban.
Once doing the spinning top ending and returning to the normal worlds, the golden leaf markings went away and was nowhere to be seen on the map. The golden rift also went away from shattered terrace. Later on the golden leaf markings randomly came back on shattered terrace and coral caves as i slept in coral caves.
In hindsight the only out of ordinary thing I encountered was encased ripplespace worms in one room in coral caves. I have searched the region up and down but nothing. I then proceeded to rusted wrecks. Hatched 3 more encased ripplespace worms and slept in a shelter.
No change on map. No new golden leaf marking on map. I then also searched this region completely. Nothing. I feel like i am not making any progress anymore.

Cold storage - shattered terrace
The cold storage and shattered terrace ones vanished along with the golden rift I passed in shattered terrace as i went to ancient urban to wrap up the spinning top ending.
Then no leafs on the worlds map at all until i slept in coral caves. I have up and ended the entire region with no signs of anything out of ordinary

Pretty sure i went to coral caves normally from a neighboring region...
Then just slept there
I currently am residing in rusted wrecks but the golden leafs are stil on shattered and coral maps

I was thinking i might have used a flower to get to coral... I just dont remember quite if that is what I did. When i think about it, that is how i entered cold storage the first time too
Wait... I think i know now... I should get back to shattered through the ripplespace shortcut from coral

Thanks i have an idea of what I did now. It did not click earlier due to my memory of the way i reached these worlds not giving me that information

Investigate what you can ... and if the icon vanishes again because you didn'tsolve it, now you know how to replicate the trigger and try again
