and if you slept after seeing one, sometimes it doesn't disappear properly and leaves behind a dysfunctional one, you have to find another if that happens

so just make a gold rift, head to the room, and follow the strings

• After getting transported to the new level, come back to the level I came from.
• Sleep
• Weaver spawns

texture issue, usually caused by a memory leak. Playing for longer sessions and with larger mods enabled causes memory leaks to build up which can lead to instability and crashes. Close the game occasionally if you have it open for 2+ hours

no, they are just rarer in vanilla so you don't get much practice against them

it's very easy to underestimate them

they are very dangerous to just jump over, and due to not being a wall climber are usually in harder spots to get around ironically

and unlike moles and yellows, they have decent reaction times and can catch you out of the air

1. Make a manual portal yourself. Preferably somewhere close to shelter.
2. Wait for 5 cycles to pass. Once you don't see your portal anymore, you know that the Weaver spawned.
3. Try to locate it. Its spawn points are predetermined, but the game will try to spawn it to the closest portal.
4. Repeat

As for Weaver spots, it almost always spawns in large open rooms, so if you don't know where to search, those are a safe bet.

Hey! I think my game might just be bugging out but I want to ask if there's anything I need to do here

I've closed every portal, there was one in turbulent pump that was being buggy but it's actually closed now. However, I still can't access the third ending and self-warping still sends me to turbulent pump. If I warp from turbulent pump, it sends me to a random region like usual

Also if it helps, I've gotten the first ending on this save file but not the second one. As far as I know the second ending isn't required for the third one, so I don't think that's the problem. I've also visited migration path, pillar grove and fractured gateways, which I'm pretty sure are the only new regions in 1.5

The depths did spawn spears etc. so perhaps that + special + other potential move techs might be usable to try getting into the vanilla regions

Honestly I would be down to try it, I don't expect anything special or maybe they thought about it and took measures to prevent it but I would very much hope there's a secret to be found

So uh I just did something funky - I think the teleportation thing is actually based on the distance you travel from your spawn point rather than time and when I tried normally, I was TPed away right in front of the shelter

Using the console I TPed myself on top of the shelter pipe and it immediately started the warp sequence, it actually created a portal just as the hib sequence finished

The result is: I have woken up as normal, but now there's a portal inside the shelter and HI jumped from "clean" to "dark and purple with rot"

But of course my weaving ability is now cleaning it lol

Whenever I make one, then try to go back through it in the same cycle (pearl retrieval) I just get this:

they have a lot of bugs with them currently, when you do one you should try to find a shelter immediately after to prevent issues

outer expanse is the "non ascension" ending for monk, so if you trigger an ending that wasn't ascension it assumes you got the OE one

drill crabs and tower crabs only have 3.5 hp, just make sure you get body hits since the legs reduce damage by quite a bit

(also bring a spear quiver if you are hunting tower crabs, if you get lucky you might get 1 rarely 2 spears to spawn in the area naturally)
