how playing as monk felt so far

i took a mouse with me, the spiders didnt care and killed me the second i got slightly down the pole

then i tried going back to where i was, because maybe garbage wastes WAS NOT THAT BAD..

then i figured i could not go back

i kept looking AND I SAW A EVEN BIGGER SPIDER

it stared at me from afar at first then chased me down aggresively

result - i resetted my progress due to my arachnophobia

got back to eletrical complex

i wanted to find other paths

other places i could go other than garbage wastes and shaded citadel

yet the game kept trowing me at that forsaken citadel

i climbed in hopes that there'd be more up there, instead i was met w 3 angry vultures and a blue lizard

ahhhhhh, i've seen this sort of slugsituation recently - very very anecdotal, but resting and quitting is what fixed them for me

the second time around, i got a black screen after resting and i thought i'd lost my progress, but it did save normally !

idk the only time I've seen a glitch like that was in watcher but i know its not a watcher exclusive thing

Assuming steam right click the game and go into properties. Then verify the files

If it won't work for you and you encounter the issue again try reinstalling the game
