ok so my first mistake was buying this game with downpour already installed not realizing vanilla and downpour were 2 different games with different worlds (or not idk i havent played vanilla)
i have around 8 hours in the game which most of them is being stuck in the second world (or idk its the place with the annoying birds and the people that stock you and kill you for no reason)
now at some point i just gave up and was thinking i got softlock because i wasnt able to find enough food from where i was so i started a new save file, speedrun all the way to where i was when i realized i went completely to a new world by accident. which i didnt know was even a thing. which was all fine until i kept getting stuck in the same room with no lights and kept dying so i came back to my first save file.
so even tho i havent done anything in my past 8 hours and i still dont know what im supposed to do i still think this game is awesome and totally worth buying ( i only got it because it was 40% off 🤑 )
downpour is considered an official AU to the base game, but it does add to vanilla slugcats (monk, survivor, and hunter) with new rooms and such. it's more like downpour builds off vanilla story and adds more content to it than the two being completely separate
you're exploring and discovering new areas and worlds so that's good!!!
Alr i think I just got to the end but I'm stuck can you help?
I got the the place with the robot but nothing is happening and I think she's dead
you can always explore elsewhere if you've tried everything you could think of there
Wait so the robot isn't the end then
I thought she was supposed to talk with you but she just made noises
Alr then
yeah you are like a mouse in a strange jungle where you are not part of so its normal
