I’m still pretty new to rain world and it’s coming out to be one of my most favorite games. On ps5 at least in some areas the game is almost completely unplayable. I’ve only played survivor, Gourmand and am currently making my way through spear master and I’ve had multiple areas I’ve just had to try and completely avoid. In survivors campaign I did not have much of any trouble except for those areas in five pebbles that have hundreds of neurons in them which is fine because there’s not really any obstacles in those areas but for gourmand when I as trying to finish his food quest I tried to kill the red centipede in subterranean but my games fps was so bad there I just teleported to kill the one in garbage waste then came back to go to the outer expanse were there was also a lot of fps drop. Now in spear master I’m making my way through looks to the moons area and my games fps is dropping so much I’m not really even sure what to do now. It’s getting to a point where I’m really frustrated because of it now and was wondering if anyone had any ideas that could help it. I’ve tried a few things already that the enternet has recommended such as switching to performance mode, deleting and reinstalling the dlc and restarting my ps5. I’ve never had fps drop on any games I’ve played on my ps5 so I don’t think it’s my consoles fault. If this is something that cannot be helped with setting do the developers know about this and are they working on it? Because the dlc has been out for over two years on console and I’m just confused and annoyed because I really want to play the game more.

personally i've heard some things about downpour specific regions often causing a lot of issues on console

I’m just going to need to find a way around these areas if I can witch really sicks because there the best areas in the game
