Spent a few cycles trying to make this one very very specific jump as i dont see another way forward (backtracking is for nerds)
Ive noticed many sections like this, a vertical pole with a single block in the way preventing you from going up. Is there a way around these? Spearing the side seems to work but the issue becomes how to get onto the spear. Ive managed to grab it a few times on a couple of these, but nothing consistent and my momentum was too high to get a grip on it well.
You could try taking another route
Not every pipe is meant to be reached in both directions
Not even some kind of movement tech?
mmmh but movement tech are not intended to finish the game with
I’m not the best person to ask but movement tech could include tick perfect inputs to fly vertically
Taking another route is much easier

That never stopped me 🧌 accidentally flew to the end of gourmand when i spammed jump too quick one time
I guess i didnt mean specifically this route (i did find the other way around), its just that this is a very common obstacle for me

Where else in the game do you encounter it?
Any time a vertical pole is interrupted by a 1x1 block (or 2x1) that significantly interrupts movement (needs a detour more than a few blocks around)? Sb_j01, sb_h02, sb_c01, sb_b01, uw_d02, uw_e03, uw_c06, uw_e04, uw_d05, uw_c04, uw_d06, si_c01, si_a06, sl_i01, "most of the rooms in shaded citadel", gw_c06, gw_b02, gw_c08
Only counting the vanilla rooms plus i know i missed a few
