Who should I play next for the lore to make the most sense? I also feel like I missed something when it comes to Looks to the Moon. Should I go back and try to figure that out?

In that case... Hunter might be a good pick. Just note it's a bit more difficult.

If you decide you dont like hunter for whatever reason, exploring the world as monk could be beneficial too
but i agree with the hunter recommendation

if you've got downpour I recommend playing gourmand, or hunter, if you enable msc you gotta move to #1272670046434492426 , if you don't have downpour then I either reccomend buying downpour, or just playing hunter, uou might accidently bang your head against a wall though

Gonna play through hunter with a friend in rain meadow and speed run monk when he’s not available lol

just because of how rain meadow works and all its flaws i would say that playing hunter on your own and playing monk with a friend may warrent a better experience

but feel free to play how you wish and dont let me rain on your parade too much!! it is not impossible to do it how you want to by any means

I did survivor with a friend in rain meadow. I think we got it down where we can work around the glitches
