aight so basically you know how when your making a minecraft world the game might ask you for a seed? Basically, the world is randomly generated but they never do anything random - instead using the seed to generate the world. The seed is whats randomly generated. This way, 2 worlds created with the same seed will look exactly the same.

In rain world, creatures have something similar called an ID number. When your game starts, it picks a random ID between 1000 and 9000 and each consecutive item or creature spawned increments the ID. So say the game randomly picks 2000 for the first ID, and then it generates a bunch of rocks, those will have 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 ect.

Theres a mod which lets you spawn in creatures with a set ID and while your on console, at least we would know garys ID and.. well, at least PC players can spawn it in but idk how this works on console
