So yea, Hornet is a not-hornet half-spider half-wyrm with the souls of tens of different species of bugs that impersonate at least 6 other bugs/creatures

covetous pilgrim yes, wielding rosaries that they attack with, can be found in shellwood act 1 and 2, shakras rest spot in bilewater after defeating groal and in act 3 outside of the wanderer crest chapel, you can only fight it 2 times ever and also it cant be blackthreaded

is a weird trigger, I think you need to enter the Slab itself or kill 1 wardenfly itself

i checked the wiki and the wardenflies (caged) do infact do not despawn upon entering act 2 but rather [from the wiki]: Wardenflies do not spawn with cages if Hornet has not defeated the Bell Beast, interacted with the Fayforn, or completed the arena that returns her belongings. The Wardenfly in Greymoor additionally does not spawn unless the SEARCH: Silent Halls objective has been completed, and Moorwing has been defeated.

SEARCH: Silent Halls is the objective to confront lace when first entering the citadel

I find it weird how every lore video I find about the Mottled Skar treats them as a separate type of Skar that is more resilient to the haunting,
when I just see them as Skar that got old because the haunting isn’t extending their life
