I think Silksong did a really good job with balancing the crests, I've seen people use every single one of them (||witch and beast|| being a bit less common, but adored by those who like them)

I personally like Hunter the best, for the pogo and the extra damage upgrades, but I sometimes swap between all but ||beast and witch||, I just can't get used to the former's movement and the latter's healing.
