y know i neveer realised before how slow healing was in the first game

especially with some late game bosses giving you very few windows to heal

pros of being incredibly thurrough when playing silksong: i get to see tons of bonus content, i find skips and tricks and notice finer details in the mechanics which allow me to educate others and help them along their journey and im able to log my findings for people in the future to further hone, and am on the path toward 100%ing the game and i find several benches

cons of being incredibly thurrough with silksong: it is much easier to become burnt out with the game (i am after playing 24 hours straight 4 or so days ago) and everyone else progresses through the game much faster which means i cant help as much because spoilers and i just genuinely dont know enough since ive yet to touch those later parts.

||thats where ive found a lot of fun movement techs to quicken traversal, and also its just aesthetically and gameplay-wise my favorite thing to come out of the game thus far. it reminds me a good bit of deepnest, which if it werent for a few glaring issues and the terror ive experienced, would be my favorite hollow knight region. wormways addresses many of these issues and has a genuinely really cool concept, way cooler than just a spider den, and blasted steps really helps to hone in the idea, as well as presenting an interesting platforming challenge while still maintaining its nature as a region.. one place i wish this was done better would be the mountain, though the platforming challenges i faced there entertained me enough to look over the lack of substance otherwise.||

||actually ive found its niches in combat to be particularly effective in some situations, moreso than others. i feel that if honed, beast crest can be one of if not the most powerful boss killing tool in hornet's kit besides her tools and traps, though this is with the limitation not only of its own, but within the effectiveness of the upgraded hunter's mark.||

||hypothetically, 33% damage increase per needle strike that applies to hornet's abilities (but oddly enough not her needle art) can be devastating beyond compare||

||ill have to run some tests to figure out wether the focus buff applies to abilities first, however||
