||as it turns out, the crest of the beast is actually both the best and worst traversal crest, because of its unique movement, funny spindash, and niche lateral capabilities||

||if you're able to weave your way in and out of enemy range and keep a pin on your opponent you can have a constant supply of masks and damage with far more margin for error, whereas in traversal combat you do not have this ability, since you move from one low hp target to another and dont get a chance for payoff||

||yes, though its not as noticeable until full focus. when you have full focus, enemies that would usually take three hits only take two, which means that you're getting at least a 33% damage increase per strike, which makes it an incredible tool if used right, and i believe that damage increase also applies to your weaver abilities, which already shred HP||
