idk if it interests you, but there is a mod that lets you practice on the separate phases (be careful that skipping to the last phase and beating sliver count for the achievment, if you want to do it legit after practicing. Though you have to enter the shelter to "win" anyways so you can't do it by accident)

personally i used it to practice on late phases and then did it legit once i felt ready
