however did you try to experiment with what gourmand is extensively capable of by chance ?
So far I've been able to (unreliably) do ground slams, ground dashes, etc but giving the walls geography they've been largely unhelpful
Just asking if it's indeed normal to have so many lizards in two smaller spaces
If it is then I'll just git gud... I guess 😭

The wall has been kicking my ass with the 5 yellow lizards and 3 white lizards on the following room. Been at it for like 3 hours now.
Found a setting enabled in remix called new dynamic difficulty, unsure if that might be the culprit. I understand the game is meant to feel unbalanced but Jesus Christ these spawns are unreal.
Playing as gourmand btw... Exhaustion is making me rethink this playthrough...
Dynamic difficult doesnt change as much as you think it does
oki ! did you use the other things the tutorial talked about a bit at the very beginning of your run ?
well, you already made that far, and players unanimously think (myself included) that the passage to get there is harder 
I was able to get through, but it basically involved waiting for the white lizards to leave for shelter while i waited in the screen before them lol.
Fighting groups with gourmand is just not feasible at all i've come to find
the stamina cooldown after throwing spears or any advanced movement just makes it impossible to outrun anything
this is not a bad technique at all
