How do i get my ||karma to the max level|| ? I'm stuck at a gate that required 5 karma, can't get the food needed for it without crossing 5 enemies, and still don't know how to get that much (3rd time i've reinstalled the game, hoping to finally get a grip on it)

once you interact with them enough you'll understand what they do

and as for the cycle length question you can experiment to answer that question as well

It's often a good idea to take a step back and consider other options when you've been stuck for a long time at one part. Backtracking or finding other ways forward is almost always an option, and is what I recommend for this specific area - farming karma at this shelter is tedious at best.

You're in what is probably the most difficult part of Industrial, and the 2nd most common place I've seen new players get stuck at

there may be some food sources nearby that you are not familiar with

try grabbing, eating, throwing, stabbing, and storing everything you find

or just go somewhere else that works too

I tried with blue fruits, butterflies,rocks, bricks, spears, white shiny things, blue shiny things, yellow flowers

I restarted my save because i was too lost on the attempt of a few years ago

getting lost is an integral part of rain world so don't let it discourage you too much

enjoy the journey rather than your destination

How am i mean to if it means being lost for 5-ish hours straight and not finding where to go ?

(Nor having new maps to unveil)

the yellow guy is here to help for that

he can be unreliable at times so checking your map to see connections you haven't been through yet could be a good idea

Getting lost is normal, there are always unexplored paths - getting stuck is another thing

Issue is i still have the old map unveiled (from last attempt a few years ago) so i don't know where i've been and where not

And i can't seem to find a way to reset that

Even tho the save has been deleted and recreated

I think you have to use the delete save button in the options menu (instead of the one in the character select screen) to clear the map

At least to check which of the found gate i have to get through

There was one that took me to a place that was a dead end behind a max karma gate

And i don't have that much time to play for now so i want to check which one is correct

you could focus on a different karma gate and come back to the max one later

and there's not really a "correct" path in rain world; the game is nonlinear

you can go anywhere from anywhere basically

(Said so because there was a steam guide that said which region to visit in which order)
(And yes i had to (a bit) spoil myself the second time to not give up quickly

yes but it doesn't require following a specific path
