I think it's really just the basic logic that follows all most other crafting. I don't imagine sweeper masks being able to be crafted into food to be logical...but they can be.
Overseer is an Iterator tool and so are neurons, overseers can store information. Just about all overseer crafts also get turned into pearls, which store information too. I think neurons store information as well, so afterlife lily just revives overseer into a different form of information storing
