i don’t really get this—the knight’s sword looks like a bat when they take it out, then a big sword. the knight also seems to have antlers. the golden star attack seems to have a lot of snowflakes. the knight also seems to have a particular Vibe™ that from the small amount we’ve seen doesn’t really seem to fit asriel? i say this with immense affection but he does seem a bit too dorky to try and carry himself like that. (like, for example, i feel like he’d shrug instead of cross his arms if he’s attacking the fun gang. not dissimilar to undertale). and just given the little we know about the knight none of it seems to really point to asriel? apart from maybe the burn in despair motif but i don’t think that necessarily points to asriel at all, much less being asriel
in short: the design is off, the vibes are off, and i don’t know what the evidence supporting him being the knight would be

so based on the gerson fight dialogue, It makes sense to take the "ink" as sorta representative of fantasy; the things you write on a page, and thus dark worlds are kinda like stories and fantasy and all. The "ocean of ink" would line up with the places that you know "Seeming like fantasy", because it's kinda the story covering the whole reality; the light; the paper that the ink is placed on.

And the "white pen" that Susie would hold is like... writing over that fantasy with reality once more? Presumably, this means susie would have the power to determine what shape the reality would take, as it'd be just like writing the stories with ink but in reverse. 👻

So that's my chapter 7 ending prediction, susie ends the roaring by somehow Writing A New Reality™, or simply recreating the old one

i think it might also be that it was a dark fountain within a dark world. The two fountains in the church were fine together (3 total), but in chapter two when berdly tries to open a fountain, ralsei freaks out even though we've seen that three total is still safe

Idk the whole concept of a "greater" world determining a lower one in fiction and how one realizes their potential in said fictional worlds seems kinda like an in the face answer to me. after chapter 3 and 4 i kinda disregarden alvin being important to the story but then i hath heard someone talk about alvin being very sus even if hes not the knight and one of the points they brought up was him digging up gersons grave for the hammer and alvin planned gerson being revived in the dark world
originally i thought the hammer was always there but if you go to chapter 2 he does talk about the hammer being buried so it is very strange that he would dig it up and bring it to his room near the making of the dark world
a little less interesting one of the points is also brought up that when you bring up entering the shelter with alvin at the church he acts kinda weird about it
but like its kinda interesting to think that even if alvin isnt the knight he still knows more than we think

I really dislike the idea of Alvin planning to revive Gerson

You have the whole Susie's arc of writing Gerson's message, doing what would otherwise be impossible while proving Gerson's point that being worse than others shouldn't stop you from making art, all this turns into Susie accidentally running into a scheduled family meeting and potentially ruining it for Alvin

I don't know the exact reason why Alvin decided to dig up the hammer but it makes total sense to me after ch4 establishes Alvin as a misguided character who thinks what he's doing is the right thing to do

I don't even think someone like Gerson knew. I read them as alot more wise/good at picking up on things. They didn't know of darkeners so they probably never knew of the dark worlds

With carol it's currently a big ??? Because if they are deeply involved it's not entirely clear how so
