I wouldn't say there are any established rules for how the prophecy is supposed to work, all we've seen accurately predicted so far are half jokes and the panels for the future events are much more vague

Like yeah, Lancer did say toothpaste boy, queen's chariot did not stop, maybe the purpose of those slides is in fact to confirm the prophecy is accurate, but I'm not sure how to apply this knowledge to explain what the ring of heaven or hell's tail mean

well, it is important to note that every single thing in existence has at least three forms/definitions as far as opinions/values are concerned. this includes words

there are at least three versions of definitions for words, and they will always exist no matter what.

the 1st form is societal-- formal.
this definition is what the word is in a dictionary.

the 2nd form is societal-- colloquial.
this definition is what large groups of people will use for the word, and is often informal.

the 3rd form is individual. this is what your own definition of the word is, and in my opinion, that is just as valid as anything else, because it often comes from the 2nd form, and will maybe spawn its own version of the 2nd form.

Okay now though I appear to crash out over deltarune ramblings, and how the human condition makes if feel like we are missing out on a wide margin of good ideas by focusing on one specifically

The main one being this time being the way people kinda just accept an idea as "foundational truth" and build from there when it's by no means confirmed (currently this has to do with stuff I've seen about IMAGE_FRIEND)

I'm just as guilty but I've found thinking of ideas or theories in terms of an IF x THEN y is a much better way to create that distinction.
