||Chapter 4's weird route is very relevant, but overall most of the chapter doesnt involve it

Chapter 2 half of the chapter can be the weird route

For chapter 3, the entire secret boss and mini game sections is showing the player the existence of the weird route, it is also hidden since it technically isnt the weird route, but its meant to show you it

Chapter 4 had the cutscene and more minor moments, but past that the amount of weird things was less, however, this does not mean it was insignificant, I do agree that it holds the most amount of importance, its just that it isnt prevalent in chapter 4 as it was in 2 or 3||

Just woke up from a deltarune dream

So basically I was Kris and I was with Susie, but the soul thing worked a bit different.

||We played a game in the dark world like in chapter 3, but how the SOUL worked instead made me (Kris) and Susie (with her monster Soul) start to possess the characters in game. Kinda trending in the idea of another of fiction inside of fiction. Susie was pretty freked out by starting to feel/see through the eyes of the game character as we kept playing||

||We were trying to rescue power stars from these deep dark worlds to stop a collapse of some kind. Along the way we found someone who was trapped in the game (tho not like us, they were physically there instead of possessing an avatar)||

||At one point we started playing like a 2 player undertale which also freaked Susie out because of it's parallels to the goings on in Deltarune||

Pretty fun 10/10 would dream again

I could answer more details but at this point I don't know what is fabricated and what I actually dreamt

we the player are on a higher level of reality, using the deltarune program as a device made by somebody (look, it's just gaster) to connect to lower levels of reality, and this pattern continues down layers of fiction, from the game world and program later that we and gaster inhabit, to the light world full of lightners, to the dark world and its darkners.
it originally surmised that we may eventually keep going deeper into layers of fiction, entering a second order dark worlds, fiction within fiction, darker yet darker
although the nested narrative didn't really happen, (CH3) ||device theory hit the nail on the head for the themes of escapism, of delving deeper into fiction to find an escape from reality. this idea of fiction in fiction also appeared near directly in the sword route, where your soul is visible on the stream as you giving suspension of disbelief and control over to the new set of fiction||

i'm still hoping in some way for a nested narrative to happen
