to say, these gripes might just be a me thing

ok i feel like im getting pretty close to the ending, and im ngl, i feel like its going in an odd direction. i have what i think is max ripple points and im stuck in some place called "salination". when i have full ripple points, i keep getting chased by this weird big worm thing that dose nothing but contort my screen in a really annoying way. i am REALLY confused on why its going like this. i have been enjoying the game up to here, but i got really overwhelmed by a region i got stuck on, and when that weird worm came out of nowhere and started messing with me i was very thrown off.
