im in the ||industrial complex||, and i was wondering what the little lines coming out of the symbol mean. is it too much of a spoiler to ask that? or will i eventually just find out what they mean? I know that there's text that shows their "names" or whatever but idk what the dots in the lines mean.

to be clear, im not talking about the symbol in the center, i'm talking about the ones on the lines areound it. i know that one ticks up every day and i need it to move to new areas or something.

1. do i lose anything besides the symbol order going back 1 when i die?
2. does the cycle number matter or is that just a measure of how long i've been playing?
