just decided to join this server and i guess ill share my progress now and a bit before i joined :D
i decided to do monk's campaign first a bit ago since i was stuck near the ||chimney canopy echo|| with survivor. i visited ||lttm and ate a neuron fly (boowomp)|| with monk first before venturing all the way to the ||chimney canopy echo|| with monk and visiting it before going to ||the exterior and 5p|| for the ||mark of communication||. i had to use a bunch of spears to climb the wall next to the ||sphere with all the lizards|| because i couldnt make it past lol. anyway i got the ||mark|| and went back in and got a ||neuron fly in storage|| after alot of trial and error, now i just have to go back to ||lttm and restore my relation with her||. idk if this is a controversial statement but i decided to read the ||lttm pearl readings|| off the wiki since i personally dont feel like having to ||go to every area and back one at a time|| (though i still may do it for the fun of it). very excited for the ending! i am going to go for the ||echos|| first tho

im still absolutely loving the game tho, i dont feel bad about using the wiki tho lol im a big advocate for enjoying games the way you can, i used to watch playthroughs of stuff back before i had the resources to buy and experience games myself monksilly

once i get all the pearls i care for and get each of the echos ill head into subterranean
ill go up through shaded citadel from the gate in shoreline, then return to chimney canopy and get the echos in sky islands and farm arrays thatll lead me into subterranean

i honestly kinda love the feeling of vaguely knowing whatll happen going into or throughout a game and having everything start to make sense its just so satisfying

the only things ive used external sources for beyond maps when i was even newer are the chimney canopy and exterior echo dialog since i didnt have the mark of communication when i encountered them and the pearl readings which was out of not wanting it to be tedious
i personally believe id have had the same reaction if i were do to these myself so its mostly for my own enjoyment and satisfaction :D
the one thing that ive kept as little info on as possible is the ending, which im getting very close to and im really excited to see
this game is absolutely amazing and ive loved experiencing it

im back to shoreline now, once my mission in returning a neuron fly to moon turns up successful or not ill make a new post to document it and the hunt for the echos and maybe pearls before the ending

i do know pretty much everything possible to be gathered before the ending. BUT ive only seen probably like 2 screens at a glance from anything past the depths. im confident the ending will hit for me, ive had an experience before of vaguely knowing some things and the ending still working greatly monksilly

some closing comments;
firstly i want to thank everyone in this thread who has helped

as for the ending itself.. it was SO GOOD
i wasnt expecting it to be so open ended but i am absolutely here for that. i am so glad i avoided as many spoilers as possible even if the ending itself was relatively short and simple. my only real guess for who the figure is at the end would be silver of straws but it could be anyone. even with the things i used wiki for - be it because of difficulty or tedium - i am very satisfied with my experience with rain world. the only questions i have left are 1. are there different endings for each campaign, and 2. did eating moon's neuron fly affect the ending at all besides the voidspawn?

i would reccomend you play hunter 110% as there are very distinct differences in the playstyle
