SPOILERS ARE UNMARKED, BEWARE! I will mainly use this forum to document my blind playthrough on the Watcher DLC. Now going through the 1.5 update!

Also here's my cat. Her name is Coco and she stares a lot :}

To share where I am up to, I have gone past the "tutorial" section, fully explored the first region, and is currently exploring the second region.

My current plan; instead of hopping through portals everytime I see one, I will stay in the current region I am in and explore all the areas it has to offer until I fill out the map, then I will travel to the next region avaliable. I'll be doing that one day at a time.

I do want to share a minor complaint about the beginning. Initally I thought I could try and meet up with Moon and then FP, however I take several cycles to find a path that may be avalible, only at the very of the tunnels I am met with a bunch of rot blocking the way. I do not like how I wasnt given a guidence to anything, having to waste my time going to area I'm not supposed to go to and backtrack so much because of that. I do wish these areas leading to non-existance pathings were blocked of way sooner.

Other than that the campaign is pretty good so far

Outer rim is pretty awful and confusing and long and bad

Especially on a first playthrough

sadly the dlc is rushed and incomplete because they wanted to release it on anniversary date

Hence the constant patches and updates for the future

I've seen how this dlc got mixed reviews

I'm actually enjoying the dlc for the most part, but yeah this is really annoying

It was so much worse on release you couldn’t see rifts on map and barnacles were significantly harder to deal with

Whenever I warp with the karma flower, theres a chance it takes me to one of the multiple places

I assumed when I warped without the karma flower it only takes me to one region (that is corrupted industrial complex)

However I might be wrong, and I was simply being very unlucky with going there multiple times

I'm gonna try that

Used rift w/o karma flower, took me back to outer rim

I'll try again

Before I go any further I'll go back to the throne to see if the prince has any new dialouge

The game seems to always prefer a specific rotted vanilla region and it’s different for everybody

There’s actually a lot more of rotted industrial it’s just split in half and you keep getting sent to the small half

So since I have pretty much traversed most of the campign, I went into the rain world wiki for a little bit (I didn't go into spoilers I havent seen yet of course), because I was bored and was curious about some niche trivias on smaller things

Apparently, you can actually deshell the barnacles, and EAT THEM

I actually did saw one of them running around naked at some point, but I didn't think much of it because... idk

I also learnt you can pull out those sandworms on the ground, and ALSO EAT THEM

There's probably many more hidden mechanics and other things I haven't came across yet

Anyways that inspires me to go back into exploring signal spires again since I realised I haven't even ridden the whales yet

Apparently the internet went out for about an hour, so I couldnt update my progress in real time

Here's what I've managed to do so far

I came across another new region! Garbage Waste to be specific

I did a smart and sent a bunch of barnacles through the rift with me, so the snails could pop their shells and I can eat them

Though there are red centipedes and a pink-disguised red lizard I have to deal with
